Trails These folks have been collecting reviews of hiking trails from all
over the Northwest and have very good description available for all
kinds of hikes. They provide honest, free insight into Pacific Northwest
backcountry destinations, year-round, for Washington, Oregon, Idaho
and British Columbia. Their mission is to increase hikers' enjoyment
of the Northwest by sharing no-hype information about destinations
by publishing Trip Reports that come directly from hikers |

Pools and King
Co. Park Pools locations and hours - Year around indoor and summer
time outdoor pools and beaches, locations and hours posted on these
links. Many indoor pools programs have adult lap swim times which
have designated fast/medium/slow lanes. Some pools have masters swim
workouts too.
Beaches -Duck
itch and other organisms that float in the water are measured
and posted on a regular basis along with the water
temperature for King Co. beaches and the City of Seattle
beaches.

Triathlons

Triathlon Club They hold monthly meetings with a speaker, the
second Monday of the month at the downtown REI. You don't need to
be a member to attend. In the summer, they have a well attended Tuesday
evening open water swims at Seward Park. Starts early in the season
with wet suits of course. The swim is in an unguarded area, outside
the supervised swimming beach!
