Do you want to get in better shape? Ready to make some changes and don’t know where to begin? A lot of abdominal crunches are not the answer and joining a gym may not be the best use of your time. Women and men, individuals and couples, choose Victoria Scott of the Body Electric Fitness Co. because they want a reliable, knowledgeable and experienced trainer who is genuinely concerned about their individual fitness needs.
To maximize your time, I visit your home or office or we can meet outdoors for your own customized program. Together we will set your goals. I will help you keep on target and do it in a safe and progressive way. You will learn how to do the exercises correctly and know why you are doing the specific exercises. You will become more aware of your body and in control. To be stimulated and challenged, we will do a variety of exercises, equipment and modalities such as yoga and pilates.

I will help motivate you to get fit and stay fit no matter your body shape, size and age. The general age range of my clients is 40 to 60 years with some 20 year olds and 70 year olds too. People involved in regular exercise find that within about 8 weeks change happens such as improved muscle tone and strength, increased stamina and endurance, more balance and flexibility. You will also sleep better and have more energy.

Each customized session builds on the previous workout to move you towards your goals. Many people want to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. A balance and variety of exercise activities are included in each session to ensure your fitness program supports your lifestyle. Each session lasts from one to one and one half hours. We can determine your goals together during the initial sessions or you can work through an optional personal assessment (see below) to see where your workout time can be best focused.

I can help you build a strong, healthy body. I can help you start a steady walking program that fits your lifestyle. You can learn to jog the smart way or train for a triathlon. I will help you focus on a sound nutrition program to be compatible with your new regime.

Depending on your goals, you will do a variety of the following:

Cardiovascular
Get your heart pumping and clean out your pipes. Exercising indoors and out, often using a heart rate monitor to remain within a predetermined zone for your fitness level and goals.
Weights
Muscle conditioning and strength training are achieved using a safe progression and proper technique though the use of dumbbells or your own home equipment.  I provide dumbbells and other mobile equipment initially as needed.

Functional-Program

A variety of routines and exercises are used to alter the stress to the muscles and to keep the workout stimulating and challenging.
Trunk/Core and Stability Exercise
Abdominal and back exercises performed on the floor or using an exercise ball and/or a medicine ball assists with the rotation and flexibility of the trunk in performing daily activities and strengthening your body's core.
Stretching

Stretching

Balance and coordination are incorporated into the workout and often are part of the stretching routine which increases your range of motion and flexibility.

Physical Assessment

From an optional assessment, you will have a baseline from which to set your goals and measure your progress. You will receive a written report of your present level of fitness including muscle strength, flexibility, range of motion, percent of body fat and your heart rate zone to maximize your workouts. Periodic assessments help keep you on track. $150.00

In home rate: $75.00 per hour, $15.00ea. additional person per hour up to 3

Summer Stimulus Package Rates $50.00 per hour - Outdoor Sessions Rain or Shine

If it's raining we'll workout under cover - Greenlake, Magnuson Park, or Myrtle Edwards Park (downtown)
